Krishna Heritage Fest 2015

August 22-23 & September 5-6, 2015

Krishna Heritage Fest is an inter-school cultural competition, a carnival of 26 contests for students from class Jr. Kg to X. Fest was held for 2 days by Hare Krishna Movement. Schools like Udgam School, Shanti Asiatic School, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Atman International School etc. had participated in the event. We witnessed around 2500 children from 50 schools.

UPCOMING CULTURAL EVENTS AT HARE KRISHNA MOVEMENT

culture-campCulture Camp is one among CES’s manifold programmes intended for students of Class V to Class X and conducted during the summer vacations; it has an enjoyable and culturally surcharged environment.

 

  

krishna contestSri Krishna Contest is a statewide written test (paper-based, objective-type) conducted for school students of Class V to Class X, based on their study of existing books on Krishna conscious subject matter. The books currently prescribed are Class V-Young Devotees of Krishna; Class VI-Srila Prabhupada-A brief life sketch; Class VII-Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu; Class VIII-Vrajanandana Krishna; Class IX-Mathuranataha Krishna and Class X-Yadunandana Krishna.

goloka shadesGoloka Shades is a statewide colouring and painting contest conducted for school students of LKG to Class X. This is an occasion for the students to display their innate creativity and talent. The students are provided with colouring sheets.

 

gitaGita Quiz is a contest aimed at unravelling the quintessence of Bhagavad-gita as understood by the students from Class V to Class X. It is an inter-school competition based on Bhagavad-gita, a treatise on truth, peace and self realization which has served as a beacon of light to the bewildered humanity from time immemorial.
