Hare Krishna Movement is serving the mission of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada

Hare Krishna Movement - Ahmedabad was established in 2007 to spread Krishna consciousness among the people of Ahmedabad by spreading the glories of Hare Krishna Maha-mantra, distribution of Srila Prabhupada's books & free distribution of food (prasadam). The Movement also started its charitable activities through the Akshaya Patra program for the welfare of the society.

The movement is serving the mission of Om Vishnupada Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya 108 Sri Srimad His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada who has appeared in the ancient Brahma-Madva-Gaudiya Sampradaya to spread the divine teachings of Bhagavad-Gita & Srimad Bhagavatam for the welfare of the entire humanity.

The missionary inspiration for the Movement’s preaching activities comes from the lucid analogy given by Srila Prabhupada, “if you want to catch someone then you should run faster than him, in the same direction.” Thus, in order to spread the transcendental message of our holy scriptures to the techno-fancied world, the Movement is directed towards presenting the scriptural wisdom with the use of modern technology and preaching tools. This modernized presentation of our ancient wisdom not only makes the message appealing to the modern masses but also more expressive.

The Hare Krishna Movement aims at preserving and propagating the spiritual treasure of our Indian Vedic culture.
