(Refrain) vāraya mādhava-muda-vadanańgam spṛśati yathāyaḿ na sakhi mad-ańgam
(1) kim ayaḿ racayati nayana-tarańgam kairaviṇī na hi bhajati patańgam
(2) kampi-karān mama patati lavańgam tvam api tathāpi na muñcasi rańgam
(3) kim api sanātana-dharmam abhańgam na parihariṣye hṛdi kṛta-sańgam
Translation
Friend, stop this amorous Madhava so He does not get near Me!
(1) Why does He cast waves from His eyes? The kairava lotus does not worship the sun.
(2) The lavanga flower falls from My trembling hand and still you do not stop this cheerfulness!
(3) I will not abandon the eternal codes of religion that always stay in My heart!n
