Salary:

  • ₹7 – ₹12 LPA (fixed)

  • May vary based on geography, industry, and level of independence required

 

Experience Required:

  • 8–12 years of rigorous HR experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or plant-based sectors

  • Strong command over blue-collar HR management, labour laws, and compliance

  • Proven experience in multi-state operations and managing large, mixed employee bases

  • Should have handled payroll & HR compliance independently

  • Experience in handling crises, vendor management, and disciplinary cases

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • MBA / PGDM in HR from a recognized institute
    (Preferably full-time)

  • Additional certifications in labour laws, industrial relations, or payroll compliance are a plus

  • Working knowledge of Excel, HRMS tools, and compliance software essential

Personal Details

Key Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):

1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for white-collar (staff, executives) and blue-collar (workers, technicians) roles

  • Manpower planning in coordination with departmental heads

  • Maintain workforce balance, manage seasonal/temp staffing, and optimize deployment

2. Payroll, Compliance & Benefits

  • Handle accurate and timely payroll processing (monthly and daily wage)

  • Manage PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Bonus compliances and filings

  • Liaise with labour consultants and ensure pan-India state-wise compliance

  • Prepare and file statutory returns (Form 3A, 6A, ECR, etc.)

  • Handle audits, inspections by PF/ESIC/Factory Inspector/Labour Department

3. Labour Law & Industrial Relations

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, etc.)

  • Draft and enforce Standing Orders, Disciplinary Protocols, and worker engagement practices

  • Handle trade union interactions, if applicable

  • Monitor contract labour compliance and liaise with vendors for documentation

4. Policy & SOP Development

  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks

  • Ensure standardized policies across departments and sites

  • Train managers and supervisors on policy adherence and HR processes

5. Employee Relations & Crisis Management

  • Address and resolve grievances across all employee levels with empathy and fairness

  • Lead internal investigations in case of misconduct, harassment, or ethical violations

  • Manage HR crises including strikes, disciplinary actions, medical emergencies, workplace safety

  • Coordinate with admin/safety teams for emergency preparedness and incident reporting

6. Performance Management & Training

  • Drive KRA/KPI-based appraisal systems and facilitate timely reviews

  • Identify training needs (technical and behavioral) for both staff and workers

  • Coordinate skill development initiatives and compliance training (POSH, safety, etc.)

7. Technology & HR Operations

  • Maintain and optimize HRIS / HRMS / attendance systems

  • Automate documentation, payroll inputs, and employee lifecycle processes

  • Oversee database integrity and generate HR dashboards

Core Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of labour legislation across Indian states

  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage crises calmly and strategically

  • Strong in documentation, SOPs, and structured implementation

  • Fluent in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency (if applicable) is a plus

  • High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
