We need at least 10 cutting board sets, 150 Serving vessels, 2 cooking vessels & 1 transportation vehicle to continue and reach more patients waiting for us in 13 government hospitals. We have served more than 4.2 crore meals to temple visitors and needy people in slums. We have served more than 1.1 crore meals to 7000+ patients in more than 15 hospitals in Gujarat since 2015.

Sri Narsimha Chaturdashi

Sri Narsimha Chaturdashi

Sri Narasimha Jayanti is the appearance day of Lord Narasimha, the half-lion half-man incarnation of Supreme Lord Krishna, who appeared to protect Prahlada from his demoniac father Hiranyakashipu. Narasimhadeva appeared at dusk on the Shukla Chaturdashi (fourteenth day of the bright fortnight) in the month of Vaishakha (May).  On this auspicious day Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Homa will be performed at Hare Krishna Mandir Ahmedabad on behalf of Seva Kartas for their protection, prosperity and well-being.  Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Homa Sankalpa will be performed in the name of seva kartas and their family members. Then priests will perform Homa by chanting mantras and offering various ahutis in fire of yagna kunda.  Goddess Laksmi blesses prosperity and Lord Narsimhadev gives protection to devotees participating in this auspicious Homa on the day of Narsimha Jayanti. Homa prasada will be send to homes of devotees participating in this Homa by offering sevas. Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Abhisheka Abhishekam of Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Vigraha is performed with Sacred water brought from sevan sacred rivers, then with Milk, then with Suddhodakam, Chandanam and other scented articles like powdered Pachcha Karpooram, Saffron paste and drops of civet oil etc., which are brought earlier in the silver vessels. While performing the Abhishekam to the Sri Lakshmi Narimha Vigraha, Purshasuktam and other sacred mantras are recited by the priests.  Sankalpa is performed for the protection and over all well-being of devotees who contributes in this grand Abhishekam Seva. The Panihati Chida-Dahi Utsava is celebrated to commemorate the meeting of Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami with Sri Nityananda Prabhu for the first time in a village named Panihati near Kolkata in West Bengal. This festival is also known as Danda Mahotsava (the Festival of Punishment). It is celebrated on the thirteenth day of the bright moon in the month of Jyeshta (May-June). To this day, pilgrims visit Panihati to celebrate the Chida-Dahi festival. We are celebrating Panihati Chida Dahi Mahotsav. We invite you to visit the temple on this auspicious day and receive the blessings of Their Lordships Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga.
