Saptahik Kirtan Utsav

Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the Supreme personality Lord Krishna himself who appeared 500 years ago, revolutionized spirituality in India by propagating kirtan as the easiest and most practical path to enlightenment. Kirtan relieves distress and induces a state of peace. The Vedic-yoga texts reveal, however, that the effects of kirtan destroy karma even from previous lives that is yet un-manifest.

Similarly, while people feel a sense of spiritual connection. The yoga texts reveal that this connection is mutual and reciprocated by the Divine, who “will never forget” the name of the person who chants the holy name.

Ekadashi  Sankirtan

Ekadashi is about spiritual cleansing. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu – the protector lord of the realm. The lunar phase, according to vedas, has two distinct phases – the Krishna Paksha (new moon) and the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon). Each phase is of 14 days.

The eleventh day is called Ekadashi (literally meaning eleventh). The fast that is kept on this day is called Ekadashi Vrat and is observed by millions of people all over the world. Srila Prabhupada Says “The best thing to do on Ekadashi fasting day is to remember the past times of Govinda and to hear His holy name constantly.

Vaishnavi Club organizes a special Sankirtan program on this special day every fortnight to come together & participate in varieties of activities which helps remember Lord.

Gitamrita

There is a common misconception among many people that Bhagavad Gita and Mahabharata belong to only those practicing the Hindu religion. The messages contained in the Bhagavad Gita are universally applicable to all, irrespective of their country or religion. It is not a religious scripture pertaining to a certain section of society. Bhagavad Gita teaches us the right way to lead our life. The very purpose of Bhagavad Gita is to deliver mankind from the sufferings of this world. Every man is in difficulty in so many ways, as Arjuna was in, having to fight the Battle of Kurukshetra.

Bhagavad Gita is the essence of all Vedic knowledge and one of the most important Upanishads in Vedic literature. If one reads Bhagavad Gita regularly and attentively, he can surpass the study of all Vedic literature.

In our restless routine life, you might find it difficult to take time a read this divine treasure. Keeping that in mind we have created an online study group for enthusiastic girls & women to come together every day for 20 mins, here is an opportunity for everyone to explore & apply this timeless wisdom in their life & make it a successes!
