Every year during the sacred month of Shravana, devotees across the world come together to celebrate one of the most heart-melting festivals of devotion — Jhulan Utsav, the divine swing festival of Sri Sri Radha Madhav.

This joyous celebration brings alive the sweet childhood pastimes of Lord Krishna, as He playfully swings with His eternal consort Srimati Radharani amidst the fragrant groves of Vrindavan. The sight of the Divine Couple swaying on a beautifully decorated swing, surrounded by floral festoons and the sound of soul-touching kirtans, evokes pure bhakti in the hearts of devotees.

At Hare Krishna Mandir, the temple transforms into a sacred forest garden during Jhulan. Each day is filled with divine elegance and devotion:

Hindola Darshan: Sri Sri Radha Madhav are seated on a swing gorgeously decorated with fresh jasmine, marigolds, and fragrant forest creepers.
Melodious Kirtans: Devotees sing beautiful bhajans, celebrating the love of Radha and Krishna.
Special Arati Seva: Every evening, Their Lordships are offered a ceremonial arati amidst soft lighting and rose-water sprays.
Personal Swing Seva: Devotees lovingly come forward to gently swing the Deities and offer heartfelt prayers.
Shayana Darshan: The festival concludes each night with a serene glimpse of the Deities being lovingly led to rest.

The final day of Jhulan Utsav coincides with the Appearance Day of Lord Balarama (Purnima, 09th August) — an occasion celebrated with grand festivities and joyful devotion.
